People are trying to copy the STRENFLEX competitive sport idea more often now. But it’s not so easy. Competition fitness sport only makes sense if it is organised in the form of a sports federation through which national and international titles may be achieved. In future, PROGETTI will cooperate with STRENFLEX, and from 2004 the Italian and at least one international STRENFLEX championship will take place at the “Festival del Fit ness”.

The fitness industry will no longer be able to dismiss the fitness festivals in Rimini, Miami, Munich, Moscow and Rio de Janeiro from its thoughts. You can think what you want about it, but at the end of the day it is only success which counts and should new interested parties be drawn to these events and not just gym mem-

bers, then this concept will have proven itself. The Italian transport minister, who vis ited such an event for the first time, was highly enthusiastic in any case. See you next year in March in Miami, in June in Rimini and in July in Munich.
